The most useful accessories you will add to your motorcycle are saddlebags. Once you've decided on whether you need throw-over or mounted saddlebags, and once you've made the choice between hard saddlebags, fiberglass and leather, it's time to consider a few accessories to protect your investment and your belongings, and to make your tour of the roads safe and enjoyable.

  • Saddlebag Supports: Kits include mounting brackets and hardware to mount saddlebags.
  • Saddlebag Support Systems: Restores form to saggy bags. Systems include lid inserts, support rails, and perimeter inserts for saddlebags.
  • Saddlebag Guards/Saddlebag Fender Guards: Keep saddlebags from ending up in the wheel areas, and protect bike fenders from saddlebag scuffs.
  • Turn Signal Relocation Kits: Move turn signals back and/or away from the fender to allow space for saddlebags. Relocate signals from rear fender struts to a license plate bracket-mounted turn signal bar.
  • Easy Brackets and Ghost Brackets: A docking kit and quick-release system. Brackets are mounted on the saddlebag, keeper bolts are mounted on the fenders, and saddlebags lock into place (bracket over bolt) without drilling into the bike. Enables riders to remove saddlebags for security purposes or to ride without saddlebags.
  • Saddlebag Locks: Lock systems install in minutes to leather saddlebags, turning them into secure compartments. Replacement locks can be installed in any saddlebag, and some companies can key them to match the engine key.
  • Tool Pouches: Keeps tools close at hand for road emergencies. Hard or soft body styles mount separately or store within saddlebags.
  • Handle Bar Bags and Windshield Bags: Convenient for small items that need to be kept within easy reach, and a nice backup to any saddlebag system.
  • Tank Bags: Made of soft materials, sits on the gas tank for easy access to items, and is expandable. Doubles as a map holder and backpack.
  • Sissy Bar Bags: Sissy bar bags substitute for saddlebags when your trip requires only a small amount of storage space.
  • Luggage Racks: Steel and chrome-plated models attach to sissy bars, backrests, and fenders. Some fold down and are detachable; some require a docking kit or quick-release pack.
